My inspiration comes from many places, but mainly from organic shapes and forms found in nature, plants, trees, flowers, landscapes, seascapes, I’m interested in the way shapes & colours interact with each other, how the right combinations can almost sing.
Beatknit is my unique take on all things tactile & textile.
I design & produce a collection of handcrafted
knitted & crochet textile accessories……….
When working through the design process
often the materials will tell you what they
need….. It’s not about what’s there it’s what
is left out, the positive & negative imagery
that makes it all come together.
